We live in a fast paced world. Due to technology, the rate of change increases exponentially every year, and as churches, ministry organizations, and families, it can sometimes be difficult to know exactly where to plug in.

At D6, we’ve asked ourselves this same question over the last few years. We are encouraged about the community that surrounds the D6 Conference and message every fall, but we continued to wonder how we could support them and reconnect during other times of the year. The technology was obviously available, but we wanted to find the best way to share some great content while continuing to build community with ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers across the country.

Enter D6 Days. Originally, D6 Days began as a series of live interviews with various speakers on the topic of Family Ministry. Each year, we tweaked the experience, and we believe that this year is shaping up to be the best year yet. D6 Days gives us and thousands of interested leaders around the world the opportunity to take some time to refocus and refuel. It’s an opportunity to be reminded about the importance of generational discipleship while hearing some great insight from leading voices along with some behind-the-scenes interviews that have never before been viewed.

So what does that mean for you?

Ultimately, we hope that you’ll be able to take the time on May 6 & 7 to join us online for our first two-day, online web conference related to family ministry. The four sessions will be sure to give you plenty to talk about with your staff and volunteers. As a matter of fact, we’d love for you to host a viewing party. Maybe even pay for lunch and use that time to debrief and talk about what you’ve heard (Chik-Fil-A anyone?).

Secondly, If you’ve never been to the D6 Conference before, we hope this is a small glimpse into what D6 is all about and that it will encourage you to visit us this fall in Louisville as we gather with hundreds of other leaders from around the country to seek God’s leading as we REFINE our family ministry strategy together.
