Richard Ross – Concentric Circles of Family Ministry

This year Richard Ross will be presenting at D6 2012 during the Main Event (September 27 – 28) in Dallas. I always love hearing him speak because he’s filled with such vision, yet he’s so incredibly practical. He spoke at the very first D6 back in 2009 and did an incredible job. Below is a brief highlight video of him speaking at D6 2009:

I hope you will join Richard Ross at D6 and leaders from 40+ states and 35+ denominations and 10+ countries. Here’s a brief snap shot of what he will be speaking on: 

"The D6 movement begins with a believer standing alone in an inner circle. The movement invites that believer to experience an awakening to much more of who Christ is. Such an awakening to the majesty of the Son leads to deep adoration, a desire to abide in Christ, and living to display His glory. In the next circle out, the believer joins the Spirit in awakening a spouse to the glory of God in the face of Christ. With hearts intertwined, they begin abiding in Christ in entirely new ways—because of their awakening. In the next circle out, the couple joins the Spirit in awakening their children to the glory of Christ. They guide the entire family to abide in Christ—together and individually—because of this awakening. In the next circle out, the family goes where Christ already is—locally and globally—and they do what He is doing. They invite his Spirit to live through them to bring Christ’s kingdom on earth for the glory of God.

God is unpredictable and tends to break out in unexpected ways. Even so, his normative way of bringing awakening to his people is through leaders. Church leader, awakening in the home most likely will come because awakening has begun in you. As you wake up to much more of who Christ is, begin to adore him more deeply, abide in him, and lead your spouse and children to do the same—then you may well see the families of your church move in the same direction—for the display of his eternal glory."
