The D6 Conference is designed for church leaders, parents, and volunteers. We encourage church leaders and pastors to bring their key team members and volunteers to maximize the impact of a biblical discipleship strategy.

What makes D6 different than any other family ministry conference?

Although it’s difficult to answer this because there are many really good events and conferences, one of the major distinctions is that D6 is a multi-model event. D6 is not about “our” model of ministry or family ministry, but rather, understanding and applying various ways church and home work together based on scriptural principles.

When can I expect more details about speakers, topics, etc.?

Great question! While we’d love to share all the info we have as soon as we get it, many logistics depend on one another, so we often have to wait before releasing an exact schedule. With that being said, check the website often for details. We will publish them as they become available.

Below you will find an approximate timeline for when new information should be posted:
– September 2016: Registration opens for D6 2017
– January 2017: New website launches with travel information and a few exciting speaker announcements
– March 2017: More speakers are being added weekly. Scheduling of breakout topics is taking place but cannot be released until all sessions are filled.
– July 2017: Final sessions and Breakout schedule is posted online.
– September 2017: Attendees can expect a series of emails from the Conference Coordinator with even more details and reminders for the event.

 


 
 

Where is the D6 Conference held?

In 2017, the D6 Conference will return to the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Frisco, TX. This hotel and convention center will serve as our conference headquarters. We have negotiated a discounted rate at the Embassy Suites and several surrounding hotels. You can find more information about hotel accommodations and travel information here.
 

What travel accommodations are available?

That’s up to you, but you’re welcome to check out what we suggest. We have talked to several hotels to provide better rates for our attendees.

 


 
 

What is the purpose of the D6 Conference?

It is a conference about shaping our spiritual formation models to effectively pass faith along to the next generation. It is an event for church leadership and parents who want to change the statistics of students leaving the church after high school. Leaders, ministers, and leading parents who attend the conference will be challenged to help churches partner with parents to make disciples through the lens of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, the foundational passage for biblical parenting. How much is registration?

Standard registration is $299, but there is a significant discount for registering early. The earlier you register, the more you save! The current price is available here.
 

What is included in the cost of registration?

Registration for the D6 Conference includes entry to the Main Event, Breakouts, a D6 program magazine, a bag full of cool stuff, lanyard, and name badge. The registration price does not include lodging, transportation, or meals.
 

Do you offer scholarships?

We do not offer any formal scholarships; however, financial assistance may be available in extenuating circumstances. To inquire, contact David Womack here.
 

Do you allow one day (reduced price) passes?

Due to the nature and schedule of our event, we do not sell partial or daily passes to the D6 Conference.
 

What are my payment options?

All major credit cards are accepted during the registration process.
 

Can we add additional attendees to our original order?

Since your credit card was already charged during your original order, new orders cannot be added to an existing registration. Simply repeat the process of registering any new members. Each person with an email address and a purchased ticket will receive an email as confirmation.
 

Is registration refundable?

D6 Conference registrations are nonrefundable. In the event a registrant cannot attend, his or her registration may be transferred to another person or forwarded to the next year’s conference. Requests to forward a registration must be submitted in writing to the D6 Conference team by September 1. Transfers may be made at any time prior to the beginning of the conference. What is FastTrack?

Every group or individual who completes the registration profile (meaning each person has provided a first name, last name, personal email address, and a job title) by September 1 will qualify for FastTrack On-Site Check-In. This simply means that you will be able to scan (if you bring your ticket) or check-in with one of our registration team members to pick up your registration packet without having to wait in long lines or fill out cards with more information.
 

Do I need to register for individual breakouts or labs?

Breakout and lab session seating at D6 is on a first-come, first-served basis, and you can choose which ones you want to attend after you arrive on-site.
 

Is childcare provided?

Childcare is not provided at the conference. Although we think kids are the best, D6 is not designed to host children but rather to create a focused learning and interactive environment for you, your spouse, and your team. If you choose to bring the kids along who do not have a ticket for the event, lap seating is required. Any child who will not be sitting on your lap or held will need to have his or her own registration. Seating is limited.
 

Does D6 provide a letter of invitation to attendees traveling from outside the United States?

The D6 Conference is a public event that requires no invitation. If a letter of invitation is required for international travel a written request can be submitted after a registration is secured (if the visa is denied we will refund the purchase price of the registration).

The request should list the name and contact information of at least one church or ministry organization, based in the United States, affiliated or acquainted with the person requesting the letter of invitation.

We will follow-up with each contact provided. A letter of invitation does not imply endorsement of the individual receiving it. All D6 Conference registrants are responsible for any and all expenses incurred in attending the conference; a letter of invitation does not carry any monetary value or imply any financial assistance. We are pleased to help attendees secure the needed documents to attend the D6 Conference in order to help their ministry.
