We are excited to introduce our guest for this week, Dan Istvanik.

Dan is a middle school and youth ministry guru, and he is with us today to discuss the topic of doing ministry as a family. He describes how he and his wife, Melissa, have set their family up on the path of doing ministry together. He shares some of the challenges that can come with doing ministry this way and what to do if your spouse is called in a different area of ministry than yours. He talks on the topic of the role of serving opportunities for their children and how being a pastor’s kid can impact that. Dan also touches on the subject of the pressure of being a pastor’s spouse, and he advises us on dealing with hurt in ministry as a family. He also describes his new website, mymresources.com, that provides resources for grades 5th-9th grade.
