Simplify Discipleship Across Every Generation

From babies to grandparents, D6 Curriculum delivers one aligned discipleship plan that unites your church and empowers your home.

What Starts at Church…

Spark a movement of faith that reaches every generation with D6 Sunday school and small group curriculum. When kids, teens, and adults learn from the same biblical theme each week, your church isn’t just teaching, it’s launching a unified discipleship plan that prepares families to live out their faith beyond the building.

Continues at Home

Most families only spend one hour a week at church, but discipleship can’t stop there. Whether it’s around the dinner table, in the car, or at bedtime, D6 helps parents turn everyday moments into faith-shaping ones with devotional study guides, so what starts at church keeps growing at home.

The D6 Preschool Teaching Guide (for ages 2-5) gives leaders everything they need to teach two- to five-year-olds with confidence and care. Each lesson lays a simple, gospel-centered foundation, helping preschoolers discover who God is and how much He loves them through hands-on activities and age-appropriate truths.

Pair it with Preschool Teaching Essentials, your go-to kit of visual aids, teaching posters, patterns, application verse posters (available in KJV, ESV, NKJV, and NIV), and Take ‘n Talk pages that connect church to home. Designed for both younger and older preschoolers, these tools help truth take root and keep families talking all week long.

At-Home Discipleship Materials

Cuddle Time Bible Storybook

Turn everyday moments into faith-building opportunities. With vibrant illustrations, interactive storytelling, and preschool-friendly truths, Cuddle Time Bible Storybook features two intentional lessons built around “Heartprints,” core biblical concepts designed to imprint truth on a child’s heart through repetition and connection. These moments may seem simple, but they shape a child’s earliest view of God. Whether it’s a bedtime story, a quiet moment on the couch, or a Sunday morning read-aloud, this storybook turns ordinary cuddles into foundational faith conversations.

Kids’ Cards

Bring preschool lessons to life with full-color visuals and simple reminders kids can hold. These take-home or mail-out cards help parents review the lesson and keep faith conversations going all week. Printed on sturdy cardstock and perforated for easy use, each card gives teachers a way to reach every child, including those who miss a Sunday.

Elementary Teaching Materials

The D6 Elementary Teaching Guide (for grades K5) equips leaders to teach students with confidence and clarity. Every lesson builds biblical literacy, encourages life application, and introduces apologetics in age-appropriate ways. With options for both younger and older students, it’s easy to tailor each week to fit your class and equip parents to carry the conversation home.

Elementary Teaching Essentials provide everything you need to bring each lesson to life: teaching posters, reproducible sheets, application verse posters (available in KJV, ESV, NKJV, and NIV), and more. You’ll also get Field Notes, take-home pages that connect class to home. One side engages kids in class. The other gives families tools to review the Scripture, theme, and next steps so truth doesn’t stay in the classroom.

At-Home Discipleship Materials

Adventure Guide (Grades K–2)

When you’re trying to spark a daily Bible habit in young readers, Adventure Guide becomes your faithful ally. Adventure Guide pairs bite-sized Scripture with thoughtful questions. Additional stories and explanations, along with fun facts, jokes, and puzzles, keep attention spans locked in. With Adventure Guide, children meet God on their level and parents see foundational truths become part of bedtime, breakfast, and everything in between.

Explorer’s Guide (Grades 3–5)

Older elementary kids crave challenges and Explorer’s Guide delivers. Each issue unpacks core doctrines at an age appropriate level, then pushes readers to wrestle with “Now what?” application questions. Daily studies, brain-teasing activities, and short stories guide students from head knowledge to heart conviction, empowering them to see how biblical wisdom speaks into school, friendships, and tough choices.

Teen Teaching Materials

The D6 Teen Teaching Guide (for middle and high school) equips you to do more than teach Bible stories, it helps students build a faith they can stand on. Every lesson is rooted in Scripture and shaped by strong teaching methods, with an intentional focus on apologetics. Teens won’t just hear the truth, they’ll learn how to defend it, apply it, and live it.

The Teen Teaching Essentials come loaded with digital tools to bring lessons to life: downloadable posters, reproducible handouts, a hyperlinked guide, and bold questions that invite real dialogue. It’s the support needed to disciple students in truth and confidence.

Why D6 Works

In a culture full of noise, D6 brings gospel-centered, biblically-grounded truth to every age group. We don’t just teach Bible stories; we help kids, teens, and adults build a biblical worldview they can live by. With only 4% of Gen Z holding a biblical worldview, clarity isn’t optional. It’s urgent. That’s why D6 answers today’s questions with timeless truth, helping churches and parents disciple with confidence.

Cohesive Strategy

Many churches struggle to connect what kids, teens, and adults are learning, leaving families spiritually fragmented. D6 Curriculum solves this with a strategy that aligns every age group around the same biblical truths each week. Parents can have meaningful faith conversations at home because everyone heard the same core message on Sunday. This creates a discipleship rhythm that goes beyond church walls, making faith formation a family experience. When families grow together in God’s Word, churches grow stronger.

Ministry Flexibility

No two churches are alike, so your curriculum shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. D6 offers flexible solutions in both print and digital formats, with fully editable lessons that adjust to your church’s size, schedule, and structure. Whether you’re leading Sunday School classes, small groups, or midweek gatherings, D6 gives you customizable resources that meet your ministry’s unique needs without compromising biblical depth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can our church benefit from ordering curriculum for only one age group?

Yes. While it is most effective when multiple ages use the aligned curriculum, each age does stand alone. Many churches who use D6 curriculum have only one age group, such as children, teens, or adults, using it while the other age groups do not.

Can I use the devotional magazines even if I do not use the curriculum?

Yes! Our award-winning devotional magazines will help families connect more in the daily rhythms of life and around Bible passages.

How much prep time is required each week?

Each age-level Teaching Guide is designed to be ready-to-use and easy to follow, with clear instructions, conversation starters, and activities. Most volunteers can prepare in 30–45 minutes or less, because we want them focused more on leading people than decoding a lesson.

Does D6 offer a subscription so my curriculum is always up to date?

Yes! With a monthly billing cycle for two-month blocks, your standing order is always current, without the hassle of reordering. D6 Curriculum ships automatically, keeping your team equipped and your classrooms ready. This “set it and forget it” model gives you peace of mind, reliable shipments, and long-term savings, so you can focus on leading, not managing logistics.

To set up your standing order, call +1 (800) 877-7030 to speak with one of our friendly customer service representatives or email us at orders@d6family.com.

What resources should I order to teach a D6 class?

The Teaching Essentials are designed to be an all-inclusive kit for the classroom experience. Each Teaching Essentials contains a Teaching Guide, a URL to download a Teaching Guide PDF, and a variety of resources, including teaching posters, reproducible in-class and take-home sheets, application verse posters, and more. D6 Teaching Resources are available for every age group from nursery to adult. Additional Teaching Guides are available for purchase.

We suggest purchasing a Devotional Study Guide for every student to help them study the Bible outside the classroom. D6 Devotional Study Guides can be used by families at home, even if their church does not use D6 Curriculum.

Does D6 Curriculum work for both large group and small group formats?

Absolutely. Whether you’re gathering in a large group or breaking into small groups, D6 Curriculum is built to support both formats with ease. Our C.L.E.A.R. Learning System takes the guesswork out of lesson planning. Connect and Learn create an engaging, unified group experience, while Explore, Apply, and Respond guide leaders through meaningful group discipleship. You get a flexible structure that helps every student move from hearing truth to living it out, no matter the group size.

What if my church has mixed-age classes?

No problem. Because D6 unifies every age group around the same biblical theme, multi-age classrooms still stay aligned. Teaching Guides include activities tailored by age and learning style, so leaders can adapt lessons for combined groups like K–2 or 3rd–5th.

Why doesn’t D6 Curriculum include videos or digital teaching components?

Discipleship is personal. While technology has its place, we believe spiritual growth happens best through real conversations, trusted relationships, and face-to-face connections. That’s why D6 Curriculum focuses on equipping leaders and parents, not replacing them. Instead of screens, we provide tools that help people show up, speak truth, and model faith in everyday life. Our approach is intentional: less watching, more engaging.

How does D6 help us disciple kids who aren’t connected to parents at home?

That’s one of the reasons D6 Curriculum uses the same lesson across all ages. Even if a child doesn’t have spiritual support at home, they’ll still hear the same truth from their small group leader, youth pastor, grandparent, or another caring adult in the congregation. That creates natural opportunities where discipleship can still happen through mentoring relationships at church.

Which Bible translations does D6 offer?

D6 Curriculum is designed to work with the Bible translation your church already uses. Our Teaching Guides and Devotional Study Guides encourage students and leaders to read from their own Bibles, so you’re not locked into a specific version. This allows you to teach using the translation your church already knows and trusts.

The Preschool and Elementary Teaching Essentials include Bible application verse posters. We offer two translation options: KJV and ESV/NKJV/NIV.

How can I order D6 Curriculum?

To order, visit d6.family/store, call +1 (800) 877-7030 to speak with one of our helpful customer service representatives, or email orders@d6family.com. Orders can also be faxed to (615) 367-0535. Whether your ministry is steady or growing, our two-month block approach gives you both structure and flexibility. You’ll receive everything you need in one shipment, just six times a year, making it easy to plan ahead, rotate volunteers, and welcome new families. It’s perfect for predictable budgeting and built-in on-ramps to disciple guests and new class members throughout the year. We’ve made ordering simple, cost-effective, and ministry-friendly, so you can spend less time managing details and more time making disciples. Orders usually ship by the next business day and can take from one to five days, depending on where you live.

Does D6 Curriculum offer large group options for children?

D6 Family Ministry offers Elements Kids Worship, a large-group format Children’s Church Curriculum designed to help kids learn the essential building blocks they need to become spiritual champions for Christ! This downloadable curriculum provides biblically-based and culturally-relevant lessons equipped with easy-to-use lesson plans, videos, and podcasts to help you partner with parents throughout the week to drive faith home.

While Elements Kids Worship does not use the same lessons as D6 Curriculum, the two are highly complementary. Each week, D6 Curriculum follows a unique family theme. From those weekly themes, one is selected each month to become the “Element of the Month” in Elements Kids Worship. This means both resources align around a shared biblical focus, making it easy for churches and families to stay connected around the same core truths.
