Stephen “Doc” Hunsley, M.D., is executive director and founder of SOAR Special Needs, serving over 1500 individuals with disabilities through respite events and day camps. He assists 700+ churches globally in launching disability ministries. A retired disabled pediatrician and USAF veteran, Doc and his wife Kay, a practicing pediatrician, have three children: Luke, Mark, and Sarah. Their son Mark, who had autism during his five years on earth before going to heaven, inspired the start of SOAR.
