Valerie Ellis is an author, speaker, and founder of Our Everyday Parables, an online resource with book reviews and discipleship ideas for families pursuing faith and compassion. A certified teacher with children’s ministry experience, she lives in Houston, Texas, where she stays involved with The MomCo (formerly MOPS) and a variety of local nonprofits. Valerie is married to Josh, executive director of Union Baptist Association, and they have two boys, ages 14 and 11.
