Melodie Bissell, D.Min., serves as chair of Plan to Protect®, raising the bar on safeguarding through consulting, training, and strong policy development. An author and victim-advocate, she gives voice to victim-survivors and carefully stewards disclosures. As an investigator, she applies wisdom to assess clergy misconduct concerns. She earned her doctorate from the University of Toronto in 2022 and is married to Scott, a retired pastor and missionary.
