We are honored to have long-time friend Dr. Richard Ross as our guest today. Dr. Ross joins us to talk about practices and qualities that give adults influence in the life of a teenager. Dr. Ross begins by addressing why adults may be skeptical or apprehensive about being able to connect with teens. He talks about the influence parents and leaders have on teens today versus 30 years ago and why it’s important for kids and teens to have godly adult influences in their lives, even beyond their parents. Dr. Ross gives us five specific practices and qualities that adults can exhibit that increase their influence on teens today. He also encourages adults who need a little help breaking through the intimidation factor of connecting with teenagers.
