We are honored to welcome Frank Trimble to the D6 Family Podcast. Frank is with us to talk about the part senior pastors play in the discipleship of children and teens. He explains the disconnect we see in many churches between what’s happening in the children’s and youth ministries and the rest of the church. He describes how the lead pastor should be involved in family ministry and the negative impact that a passive approach can have on discipleship. Frank shares a framework for lead pastors to use to shepherd kids and teens, and he gives a final word of encouragement to the tired, burned-out pastor who wants to do more but doesn’t know how.
