We are honored to have Carissa Potter as our guest. Carissa joins us to discuss the societal norm of self-centeredness and how this impacts our view of God, Scripture, and our place in God’s story. She begins by telling us what has led our society to this point of being so me-centered and why it’s so appealing to the outside world. Carissa also shares how this mindset has made its way into the church and the damage it’s causing to today’s youth. She guides us on how to help youth look beyond God’s blessings for themselves and discover His bigger purpose in Scripture. Finally, Carissa explains how the shift from a me-centered life to a God-centered life can change someone’s life.
