Generational Discipleship. Family Ministry. Church and Home.
The D6 Conference is a multi-model family ministry event based on God’s command in Deuteronomy 6 that family should be the primary vehicle for discipleship. This philosophy also recognizes the churches responsibility to equip parents and support spiritual orphans as we seek to pass our faith and values to the next generation.
The theme Connect is based on Psalm 145:4 and carries with it the idea that connections of all kinds are vital for God’s story to be passed from generation to generation. Connections with parents. Connections with pastors. Connections with peers. At some point, this must move beyond theory to practice as leaders and parents build a bridge between the church and the home.
