Melodie is the president of Plan to Protect, with a desire to raise the bar on safeguarding the church. As a Victim-Advocate, Melodie is committed to giving voice to victim-survivors of abuse as she stewards the disclosures and stories of abuse. Melodie received her doctorate at University of Toronto. Melodie is married to Scott, who is a pastor at Logos Baptist Church in Toronto, Canada. They have three children serving the Lord overseas.
