We are honored to welcome Holley Gerth as our guest. Holley is with us to discuss introverts and how they can protect themselves from burnout. She explains how introverts and extroverts approach ministry differently, the most common reasons for burnout, and why introverts try to work as extroverts. She shares how she, as an introvert, personally decides when to step out and embrace situations outside of her comfort zone and when to step back and say no. Holley tells introverts how to battle feelings of inadequacy and shame that come from not being more charismatic, and she describes how to do an energy audit that can help introverts protect themselves from burnout. Lastly, Holley provides a word of encouragement to introverted ministry leaders who are in burnout.
